SARAJEVO, September 27 (FENA) - After the SDP BiH deputies in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament today asked the FBiH Government to repeal the Rulebook on replacing fiscal systems, Deputy Prime Minister and the FBiH Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević said that the SDP presented only populist information that goes in their favor, and did not present what the benefits are and what the introduction of a new system would bring.
The ordinance replaces the fiscal cash registers with the new ones, which, as it was said, will monitor individual accounts, and not just daily turnover.
"First of all, we want to create the same business conditions for all taxpayers. This means that we cannot punish people who do business properly, report income and give lenience to those who do not," said Milićević.
The new cash registers will have one card with a QR code, which means that every account that goes through the fiscal cash register will be automatically seen in the Tax Administration.
"As a customer, I will be able to check that QR code and see if it is registered with the Tax Administration. This means in real-time, and at the same time, it means that the Tax Administration on its platforms will be able to monitor who is constantly reducing their revenues and do targeted controls. This is, in a way, the protection of the income of the Federation of BiH, because as a citizen, if I pay VAT, no one has the right to keep it in private pockets," Milićević emphasized.
To help the businesses, the government is ready to subsidize the costs of replacing these fiscal cash registers.
