NEW YORK, September 20 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić said today from New York to BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik that he is not necessary for BiH to function.
"These countries will be with him, and without him, especially," said Komšić, who thus responded to Dodik's threats to disintegrate the state if the UN Secretary General does not ban addressing Komšić at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
Tonight, Komšić is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and during his stay in the United States, Komšić will hold several more meetings with officials.
Dodik said today that Komšić did not get his consent to go to New York and address the UN General Assembly, emphasizing that Komsic had privatized his position and that he should have emphasized that he was coming to the session individually, and not as a member of the BiH Presidency.
"Since I see that the meetings and his address are announced, it shows that the UN got involved in the disintegration of BiH and its disintegration. The UN thus gave the opportunity to listen to only one side indignant with its position," Dodik pointed out earlier today.
