LOPARE, July 25 (FENA) - A meeting of parliamentary parties from the entity of Republika Srpska in connection with HR Inzko's decision to use the Bonn powers should have been an opportunity to give a joint response to this situation, but we see that the SNSD is already running its special campaign, said today the SDS President Mirko Šarović.
He said that it seems that tomorrow's meeting called in the RS will be an attempt for the government to dictate its already prepared solutions.
"Tomorrow, we are headed to a joint meeting to reach a consensus on the steps to be taken but someone is already realizing a plan that he will present to us tomorrow. The SNSD and Dodik have already started their own campaign and have their own program, and they called for a joint agreement. I think that it is a great pity that things are going in this direction because this was a real opportunity to discuss and face this situation together and take a joint stance from the RS," stated Šarović.
He pointed out that the SNSD has power at all levels and that is why they have the greatest responsibility.
"I believe the opposition cannot be blamed for what is happening. This government got us into a situation with a new high representative with greater powers and the Bonn powers are also being reintroduced thanks to this government," Šarović reminded.
He points out that the behavior of the authorities in the RS raises suspicion that this is all part of the preconceived scenario.
"I am beginning to doubt that they were in agreement with Valentin Inzko and with whom else. How come all of a sudden we see all these propaganda materials, videos, together with the printed petition sheets which are being signed after two to three hours upon Inzko's decision. This means that they had to know what was about to happen," stressed Šarović.
He stated that the opinion of the opposition in the RS is that we should not rush into anything and that reasonable solutions should be sought.
