SARAJEVO, April 21 (FENA) - Around 350 people have been vaccinated by 10.30 am this morning, the Sarajevo Canton Minister of Health Haris Vranić told reporters on the occasion of today's start of vaccination of insured persons in this canton aged 75 and over.
The vaccination, which takes place at the Zetra Olympic Hall, is taking place smoothly, efficiently, in the best order, which is why Vranić expressed content, emphasizing the coordination of medical teams, good IT and technical conditions and other components of this process.
According to the minister, there were also citizens who did not register earlier and came to Zetra, but they also received the vaccine.
Vranić told the insured persons that they should apply in advance so that time should not be wasted in the immunization process and announced the immunization of about 1,500 to 2,000 insured citizens for tomorrow.
After the vaccination of insured persons from this age group, members of law enforcement agencies will be vaccinated, he said, adding that any remaining doses will be administered to insured persons according to further priority categories.
Minister Vranić confirmed that persons who are immobile or cannot come to Zetra will be able to be immunized at home, namely with the Sinovac single-dose vaccine, since they are more suitable for storage and transport. About 55 to 60 such insured persons have been registered so far for vaccination.
