SARAJEVO, March 25 (FENA) - With the aim of improving air transport in the Federation of BiH and subsidies to public companies, the FBiH Government made seven decisions on allocating funds planned from this year's budget of the FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications, totaling at 9,000,000 KM.
Through three programs of spending funds for subsidies to public companies in this area, the Sarajevo International Airport has been approved 500,000 KM, the Mostar Airport 1,000,000 KM, and the Tuzla Airport 1,200,000 KM.
Four programs for spending part of the capital transfer funds intended for the improvement of FBiH air transport were also adopted. Thus, the Mostar Airport has been allocated 2,500,000 KM for the procurement and formation of a system for the supply of aviation fuel, and another 500,000 KM for the preparation of project documentation, the second phase of renewal of horizontal signalization, video identification system and installation of software packages, fire alarm system and hydrant network service, firefighting equipment and for the reconstruction of the roof of the terminal building.
The Tuzla Airport will receive 300,000 KM for the construction of a parking lot with a new toll system.
The Government of the FBiH has allocated 3,000,000 KM to the Sarajevo International Airport for the implementation of the initiated capital project of modernization and extension of Terminal B, stated the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government.
