SARAJEVO, September 28 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović sent a letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
In the letter, Džaferović condemned the Armenian artillery attack that led to the escalation of the conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh area.
He stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with which it has extremely good friendly relations.
Chairman Džaferović expressed hope that the armed conflicts, which pose a threat to peace in the entire region, will be stopped as soon as possible, and that negotiations will reach a peaceful solution in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions, the BiH Presidency announced.
