SARAJEVO, September 23 (FENA) - As part of the continuous cooperation and support in the work and development of the BiH Border Police (BPBiH), a donation from the Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS Program) was handed over in front of the BiH Border Police building on Wednesday.
These are protective equipment for members of the BiH Border Police, which have the aim of combating the spread of the novel coronavirus, the BiH Border Police announced.
Director of BPBiH Zoran Galić took over the protective equipment, and it was handed over by the coordinator of the EXBS Program Darko Ivić.
- Since its establishment, the United States Government has supported the development of BPBiH with the aim of the operational strengthening of this police agency. In addition to this donation of protective equipment, it is important to point out that the US Government has donated specialist equipment worth around 13 million marks. We also expect a donation of an official vessel for the Neum Border Police Unit, given that the resources have expired. Once again, a big thank you to the EXBS Program for supporting the BiH Border Police - said Director Galić.
The donated protective equipment will be evenly distributed in all organizational units of the BiH Border Police, it is stated in the announcement.
