SARAJEVO, May 13 (FENA) - Member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Head of the Epidemiology Service of the FBiH Public Health Institute Sanjin Musa said today that 653 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH in the past 24 hours, one of which was positive for Covid-19.
He stated that a total of 24.668 samples have been tested so far and that COVID-19 has been confirmed in 994 people. According to the gender structure, he added, 55 percent of the positive cases are women and 45 percent are men.
Musa said that there were 261 cases in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, 238 in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, 109 in the Sarajevo Canton, 106 in the Una-Sana Canton, 86 in the West Herzegovina Canton, 82 in the Tuzla Canton, 45 in the Central Bosnia Canton, 41 in Canton 10, 23 in Bosnia-Podrinje and three positive cases in Posavina Canton.
Currently, 35 positive people are hospitalized, and one person is on a ventilator.
He pointed out that 701 patients have recovered, while 256 are still active and that 37 deaths have been reported.
