BIHAĆ, May 6 (FENA) - Members of the Civil Protection Staff and the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) confirmed that nine more citizens of this canton have tested positive for coronavirus.
"125 samples were sent to the SarajevorReference laboratory yesterday and we received nine positive results. These are three persons from Bihać, one from Cazin and five from Bosanski Petrovac.
At the "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić" Cantonal Hospital in Bihać, seven positive patients have been hospitalized, one of them in the intensive care unit, on a ventilator," said Cantonal Minister of Health, Nermina Ćemalović.
The US Ministry of Health Crisis Staff stressed that every Wednesday migrants and refugees will be tested, that is, the current users of temporary reception centers in Bihać, Cazin and Velika Kladuša.
She also announced a weekly check of individuals in nursing homes, as well as potential testing If needed, although to date, there have been no cases of infection in these institutions.
