SARAJEVO, April 27 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, on the occasion of a day in which citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region remember the horrific mass atrocities committed during the existence of the fascist WWII creation, the Independent State of Croatia (NDH), said that the crimes committed against Serbs, Jews, Roma and anti-fascists who fought against the NDH should never be forgotten, Komšić’s Office stated.
Komšić said in a statement that the systematic persecution and pogroms against Serbs, Jews and Roma, and anti-fascists fighting against the NDH was part of the genocide of a fascist project of extermination of entire nations.
“Crimes committed under the rule of the Independent State of Croatia and crimes committed in concentration camps are the twilight of civilization and the most tragic moment in our common past.
