Novalić: Banks to introduce a three-month moratorium on loan repayment

SARAJEVO, March 19 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, held a meeting this morning with representatives of banks operating in the Federation of BiH, the FBiH Employers Association and the FBiH Banking Agency, concluding that the banking sector in the Federation of BiH is liquid and operates without any difficulties.

"The banks will grant a moratorium to private and legal entities, i.e., postponement of payment of existing loans for a minimum of three months.

The Banking Agency and the banks representatives will agree on the decision and prescribe the procedures necessary for the implementation of this decision," Novalić said after the meeting.
