Miners from "Raspotočje" pit refuse to work due to delay in payments

ZENICA, March 6 (FENA) – Miners from the third shift of the "Raspotočje" pit at the Coal Mine Zenica, due to delays in payment of loan installments and meal allowance, refused to go into the pit last night, Director of Zenica mines Edin Pašić told FENA.

Miners from the first shift did not enter the pit this morning, but Director Pašić announces that the situation will be resolved today.

“We expect payment for the supplied coal from the company "ArcelorMittal" Zenica today. As soon as the money is in our account, we will pay it to all employees,” said Pašić.
