SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović and members of the office of the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić spoke today with the ambassadors of the Quint member states and the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH on the implementation of the decision of the BiH Constitutional Court and crisis caused by the blockade of state institutions by representatives of political parties from the RS.
Džaferović informed US Ambassador Eric Nelson, British Ambassador Matthew Field, German Ambassador Margret Uebber, French Ambassador Guillaume Rousson and Italian Ambassador Nicolas Minasi, and EU Special Representative to BiH Johann Sattler on the position of two members of the BiH Presidency and that they would not agree to any political ultimatums.
He stressed that blocking the work of state institutions is absolutely unacceptable.
BiH Presidency members conveyed their resolute position to the Quint Ambassadors and their firm commitment to strict compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of BiH and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They also emphasized the role of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international judges in it, as a mechanism of protection of the Constitution of BiH, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Džaferović emphasized that all solutions must be solved through the dialogue, exclusively within the framework of the BiH Constitution and European standards, and in no way an attempt to dominate or ultimately impose any policy, the BiH Presidency stated.
