SARAJEVO, January 28 (FENA) - An MP of Our Party (NS), Mirjana Marinkovic-Lepić has asked the BiH Council of Ministers to make a decision on the verification of the diplomas of all employees in the state institutions.
"The purpose of the verification is to examine whether any of the employees, as public servants, are using falsified diplomas. This is not just for the sake of proving one's qualification or non-qualification for the job they are performing.
It is also about preventing and detecting criminal offenses committed by public sector employees. This is of particular public interest and should not be an obstacle to the implementation of this initiative,” said Marinković-Lepić.
The deadline for making this decision should be 90 days after the BiH House of Representatives adopts this initiative, Our Party (NS) stated.
