SARAJEVO, October 5 (FENA) - President of Our Party and Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto will attend a meeting of liberal European leaders organized by the ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats of Europe) to be held ahead of the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Brdo near Kranj in Slovenia.
The enlargement of the EU to the Western Balkans will be discussed, and Forto will use his stay in Slovenia to present to the liberal leaders the proposals for constitutional reforms proposed by Our Party (Naša stranka).
"ALDE is the third strongest political group in the European Parliament and is of great importance for the EU's relationship with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our Party is its full member and uses a large part of its capacities to advocate for a civic system in BiH, and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a full member of the European Union. It will be the same this time. Liberal leaders are undoubtedly committed to that, but the step that would take BiH closer to the EU in the shortest possible time are the constitutional changes that we have proposed as a political party," said Forto.
