SARAJEVO, September 21 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić received a delegation of the German Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (BVMW), which was consisted of some thirty business people, at the headquarters of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo.
This independent association represents about 50,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in all the German federal states and has about 40 offices abroad and is involved in representing their interests in politics, trade unions, large companies, and other areas.
German business delegation was particularly interested in ways of supporting FBiH authorities with foreign investors, opportunities to invest foreign capital on the BiH market, land prices, employee salaries, workforce training, tax policy, infrastructure investments and further planning in that area.
Novalić informed the members of the delegation, led by President of the BVMW Mario Ohoven and the CEO of the German company EMKA Fridhelm Runge, on the steps taken to improve the business climate for foreign investments, listing the measures taken towards this goal.
Ohoven and President of Federation of Employers of Federation of BiH Adnan Smailbegović today signed a Memorandum of Understanding which outlined the main guidelines for the future cooperation between the two associations, stated the Public Relations Office of the Government of FBiH.
