Islamic Development Bank interested in investing in the banking sector in BiH

SARAJEVO, April 25 (FENA) - Head of the Islamic Development Bank Bandar Hajjar, at today's meeting with the BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović, expressed readiness of the Bank to finance new projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina in banking, but also in other sectors.

In this regard, he pointed out that certain changes in banking legislation would make investing in BiH easier.

Izetbegović pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina offers numerous opportunities to business people, and stressed that it has all the conditions to become a stable and prosperous European state in the next ten years.

He believes that now is the right time for investors to come to Bosnia and Herzegovina, because investment in this period could bring multiple benefits in the near future, the BiH Presidency stated.
