SARAJEVO, January 24 (FENA) - Party of Democratic Action (SDA) stated that yesterday's statement of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) BiH to withdraw from talks on amendments to the Election Law clearly shows they never wanted this issue to be solved "but their intention was to cause chaos and instability".
"Extremely complicated issue of the election legislation, which includes amendments to the constitution, can only be solved through consensus of all parliamentary parties," SDA stated in a press release.
They added they see special responsibility of SDP and Democratic Front (DF) in that, especially of SDP, which accepted asymmetric solutions in entity constitutions during the Alliance for Change.
They reminded that SDP also accepted for all peoples to decide on all issues in the Federation of BiH through president and vice presidents of entities and House of Peoples and that "Bosniaks and Croats do not decide on anything in Republika Srpska, even on issues of vital national interest".
SDA called OHR to get engaged in creating solutions for amendments to the election law, and to establish symmetrical solutions for protection of vital national interests in BiH entities.
They said SDA will continue participating in all talks towards finding the best solution in the interest of BiH and all citizens, but they will not accept anything that is not result of consensus of all parliamentary parties.
