Grabar-Kitarović warns of departure of youth

ŽEPČE, January 19 (FENA) - During her visit to Žepče yesterday, President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović called all those who are thinking of leaving to stay in their homeland.

"Departure of population, especially young people, is also a painful fact in Croatia, but I am happy we also see a lot of joy, optimism and many projects here," said Grabar-Kitarović.

She reminded she came to BiH for all people in BiH, BiH as a second home to Croat people, but also for BiH as a neighbor and friendly state.

"I am here not only due to my presidential duty, but also due to deep feelings I have for BiH, its people and everyone who lives here," she emphasized during her visit to the Catholic School Center.

She emphasized Croatia will continue helping not only Croats, but all people of BiH in all fields, from healthcare to economy, in order to secure better conditions for all citizens.

She also announced she will continue working on connecting Croatia and BiH as two friendly states that will build their future together, in optimism and within good relations.

During her visit to Žepče Grabar-Kitarović met with Municipal Mayor Mato Zovko and she talked about opportunities in this city, which as it was emphasized can be an example for local communities when it comes to co-existence, cooperation and mutual respect.
