Kurtović: Median net salary in BiH stands at around 1,350 KM, wage increases needed

MOSTAR, November 1 (FENA) – The median net salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina is approximately 1,350 KM, meaning that 50 percent of employees earn less than this amount and the other 50 percent earn more, according to data from the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of BiH (SSS BiH). Its president, Samir Kurtović, says the median salary provides a more realistic picture of earnings and is “a more accurate indicator of the economic and social position of workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
