Indonesian craftsmen restore traditional woodcarvings at Sarajevo’s Istiklal Mosque

SARAJEVO, October 19 (FENA) – A team of master woodcarvers from Jepara, Indonesia, visited Sarajevo from October 14 to 19 to restore and preserve the intricate Jepara carvings adorning the interior of Istiklal Mosque, in a strong demonstration of lasting friendship and cultural diplomacy.
