Konaković writes to US officials about use of public funds for lobbying abroad

SARAJEVO, October 12 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković has sent a letter to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and prominent members of both chambers of the US Congress, drawing their attention to an important ruling by the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina concerning the use of public funds by Republika Srpska for lobbying activities abroad. The ruling is particularly relevant in light of recent developments in Washington and the broader challenge posed by Russian political influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
