Edin Džeko bids farewell to Bosnia and Herzegovina national team after 152 appearances and 73 goals

ZENICA, October 4 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team captain Edin Džeko (born March 17, 1986, in Sarajevo) played his final match for the national team on Friday evening at Bilino Polje Stadium, in the third round of Nations League B, drawing 1-1 (0-0) with Sweden. Džeko retired after making his 152nd appearance and scoring 73 goals for Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the age of 41.
