BiH foreign trade deficit exceeds KM 9.3 billion despite export growth

SARAJEVO, September 23 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina continued to record growth in foreign trade in the first eight months of this year, but also saw a rise in its trade deficit. According to data from the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, exports reached KM 11.8 billion in the January-August period, an increase of six percent compared with the same period last year, while imports rose by 7.5 percent to more than KM 21.1 billion.
