O’Flaherty: Glorification of convicted war criminals is not protected speech under human rights law

STRASBOURG, September 4 (FENA) – “I am appalled by the public glorification of Ratko Mladić, the late war criminal convicted of genocide in Srebrenica and crimes against humanity, including statements by officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of Republika Srpska and Serbia,” Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O’Flaherty said.
