RS takes 45 million euro loan with World Bank to cover UKC RS debt, announces healthcare upgrades

BANJA LUKA, September 3 (FENA) – A 45 million euros loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for additional financing of the Healthcare Systems Improvement Project in Republika Srpska will be used, among other things, to settle taxes and contributions owed by the University Clinical Center of the entity of Republika Srpska (UKC RS), reconstruct three psychiatric institutions, renovate and equip other healthcare facilities, and conduct public health research.
