Lakić after ESC session: Unanimous support for three measures to assist 1,100 Steelworks workers

SARAJEVO, September 1 (FENA) – Following the opening of bankruptcy proceedings at Nova Željezara Zenica (New Steelworks Zenica), and with the aim of providing urgent social and financial protection for workers, the FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić proposed a comprehensive package of three emergency measures for the company’s workers at Monday’s session of the Economic and Social Council (ESC).
