CAZIN, August 21 (FENA) – A fire that broke out last night in the Gomila area near Cazin, close to Stijena, has spread across difficult-to-access terrain, while strong winds have further hampered firefighting efforts and efforts to contain the blaze.
According to information from the scene, the terrain made it difficult for firefighting crews to access the area, while strong gusts of wind contributed to the spread of the fire.
Residents in the vicinity have been urged to exercise extreme caution, stay away from the fire site and allow firefighters and other competent authorities unobstructed access to the area.
According to available information, there have been no reports of people or property being endangered, while efforts to bring the fire under control continued overnight.
