BiH Food Safety Agency warns of risks posed by proposed bill on geographical indications

MOSTAR, July 21 (FENA) – The Food Safety Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina has warned that the proposed Law on the Protection of Geographical Indication, scheduled to be considered by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 22, could seriously undermine achievements made in protecting traditional food products and slow the country's European integration in this area.
