EPBiH: Electricity consumption up by around 20 percent, system stable despite heatwave

Sarajevo, June 30 (FENA) – High temperatures affecting Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region have led to a significant increase in electricity consumption, primarily due to increased use of cooling devices. However, public utility Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine (EPBiH) says the power system remains stable and that there is sufficient electricity to ensure an uninterrupted supply for all customers.
