SARAJEVO, May 22 (FENA) – In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar expressed confidence that the friendship between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary will continue to grow in the period ahead.
''On behalf of the Hungarian people and myself, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your kind letter of congratulations on the outcome of the elections held on 12 April 2026. We are committed to deepening our cooperation across all areas, with the aim of strengthening our bilateral relations and contributing to the stability of the Western Balkans. To this end, Hungary will pursue a pragmatic and respectful foreign policy, built on mutual trust and partnership with all its partners,'' the letter from the Hungarian Prime Minister states.

''Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration,'' the letter concludes.
