Amidžić on Growth Plan: We will not lose €1 billion in EU money, but €1 billion in loans

SARAJEVO, May 21 (FENA) – Bosnia and Herzegovina Finance and Treasury Minister Srđan Amidžić said after the session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the 2026 budget for BiH institutions envisages increased salaries for employees, while stressing that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not lose €1 billion in European funding under the Growth Plan, but rather the possibility of using loan funds, emphasizing that the European Union does not provide such resources as grants.
