Kovačević-Bajtal: Croatia’s new Foreigners Act major relief for workers and professional drivers

SARAJEVO/ZAGREB, May 17 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Croatia, Elma Kovačević-Bajtal, told FENA that the adoption of the new Foreigners Act in Croatia marks a significant step toward resolving the long-standing issue of residence permits for workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly professional drivers, as well as workers in construction and other sectors who will now be allowed longer and simpler residence and work arrangements in Croatia.
