NGOs: Half of BiH institutions fail to disclose public information on time

SARAJEVO, April 14 (FENA) – Almost half of institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina fail to respond to freedom of information requests within the legal deadline, while only 140 out of 394 institutions provided data on time, according to Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with 27 non-governmental organizations, it has submitted an initiative to amend freedom of information laws at all levels of government in the country.
