UNSA conference: Legal protections for women exist in BiH, but enforcement lags

SARAJEVO, March 9 (FENA) – A scientific conference titled 'Violence Against Women: Between Law and Social Responsibility' was held today at the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo. Representatives from the academic community, institutions, and civil society highlighted that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a developed legal framework for the protection of women, but the key problem remains its consistent implementation and society's tolerance toward various forms of violence.
