Zenica does not want to become Europe's waste hub instead of a steel center

ZENICA, February 3 (FENA) – The civic initiative 'NO to a Waste Incinerator in Zenica' today informed the public about its activities aimed at preventing the construction of an energy plant/waste incinerator for municipal and bio-waste at the New Zenica Steelworks facility. According to a survey, 98 percent of citizens oppose the project, as emphasized by the association's president and Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, Professor Samir Lemeš, at a press conference held at the Zenica Eco Forum.
