FBiH 2026 Budget Proposal excludes youth transfer, Youth Affairs Commission proposes amendments

SARAJEVO, January 19 (FENA) – The youth transfer has not been included in the Draft Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) for 2026, marking the first time in more than a decade that the only dedicated budget line intended for youth organizations has been omitted. Members of the Youth Affairs Commission, members of parliament, and youth representatives warned that this is a discouraging decision and called for an urgent budget correction through amendments that would reinstate the youth transfer as a separate budget line.
