State of emergency declared in Zvornik due to rising levels of Drina River, residents warned

BANJA LUKA, January 6 (FENA) – A state of emergency was declared in Zvornik today due to a sudden rise in the water level of the Drina River. The flow at the “Mali Zvornik” Hydropower Plant is around 2,350 cubic metres per second, with a further increase to 2,700 cubic metres per second expected this afternoon and evening.
