SARAJEVO, November 19 (FENA) – At a thematic session of the FBiH Parliament on domestic violence, Samir Numanović, Director of the FBiH Gender Center, told FENA that progress has been made since the new Law on Protection from Domestic Violence and Violence Against Women came into force. The law has enabled a multisectoral, coordinated approach, formally established a free SOS hotline for reporting cases, and led to the preparation of a Framework Protocol on handling domestic violence, which now awaits adoption by the FBiH Government.
