Pašić: Over 100 indictments and 80 verdicts for domestic violence in Sarajevo Canton this year

SARAJEVO, November 16 (FENA) – Domestic violence represents one of the most serious social problems, evidenced by the fact that Sarajevo Canton and the entire Federation of BiH have recorded an increase in the number of this criminal offense. In an interview with FENA, Maja Pašić, Acting Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, spoke about how the office is addressing this challenge, what its main objectives are in handling domestic violence cases, and how victims are provided protection.
