BH Journalists: FUP must not target the media for using confidential sources of information

SARAJEVO, October 29 (FENA) – The Steering Committee of the BH Journalists Association has deemed unacceptable the attempt by Acting Director of the FBiH Police Administration (FUP), Vahidin Munjić, to interfere in the editorial policy of Hayat Television, as well as his accusations that this outlet and Avdo Avdić, editor of the program 'Istraga sedmice' ('Weekly Investigation'), violated legal regulations and international privacy protection standards by publishing SMS messages exchanged between Munjić and the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), Nermin Nikšić.
