Schmidt: Srebrenica and Bosnia and Herzegovina must be places of life, hope, and a better future

POTOČARI/SREBRENICA, July 11 (FENA) – We are here today to honor the victims of the genocide committed in Srebrenica and Potočari in July 1995. Paying tribute is not only about showing respect for the legacy of the victims but also about preserving their dignity—especially in light of attempts to deny or downplay the genocide or any other war crimes and crimes against humanity, said the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, during today's commemoration at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center.
