SARAJEVO/NAPLES, June 8 (FENA) – In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the UN-designated safe area of Srebrenica, the city of Srebrenica and its citizens have been awarded the prestigious Mediterranean Peace Prize. A symbol of remembrance for the victims was also ceremonially placed among global symbols of suffering, alongside Guernica and Hiroshima, at the Totem of Peace sanctuary in Naples.
