Legal unbundling of electricity distribution in FBiH discussed at meeting with energy ministry

SARAJEVO, 21 May (FENA) – At a meeting of the Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vedran Lakić, with the directors and board members of the electric power companies in the FBiH, representatives of the Regulatory Commission for Energy of the FBiH, and consultants from PwC Sarajevo and PwC Zagreb, discussions were held regarding the legal obligation to unbundle the electricity distribution activity, i.e., the establishment of separate distribution companies as independent legal entities responsible solely for the distribution activity within Elektroprivreda BiH and Elektroprivreda HZHB.
