IGC: April designated as genocide awareness and remembrance month in Canada

SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) – The culture of remembrance regarding the Srebrenica genocide is not just about honoring the victims but also about ensuring that such atrocities never happen again. April has been declared Genocide Remembrance Month in Canada. The Srebrenica genocide, along with five other major genocides of the 20th century, is commemorated and studied every April in Canada.
