UN, EU and OSCE recognize the strength, resilience and leadership of women in Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ingrid Macdonald, Head of the European Union Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Luigi Soreca, and Head of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina Brian Aggeler, in a joint statement on the occasion of International Women's Day, recognized the strength, resilience, and leadership of women in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Women have been the pillars of their communities for generations – rebuilding society in times of crisis, protecting human rights, and shaping democracy. Despite their invaluable contributions, they still face obstacles limiting their full participation in political, economic, and social life.
