Jurišić: Freedom of expression in Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing a serious challenge

SARAJEVO, February 7 (FENA) – Freedom of expression in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been facing serious challenges since the recriminalization of defamation in the entity of Republika Srpska in 2023. According to criminal charges, it is mostly citizens, and to a lesser extent journalists, who are at risk of criminal prosecution, stated Duška Jurišić, Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, in an interview for FENA.
