Indonesia launches a groundbreaking initiative to combat malnutrition and promote healthy eating 

JAKARTA,  January 16 (FENA) - A groundbreaking initiative to combat malnutrition and promote healthy eating among Indonesia’s underserved communities has been launched across the country on January 6, 2025. The Nutritious Meals Program, or Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG), a top priority of President Prabowo Subianto’s Program Hasil Terbaik Cepat (Eight Priorities), spearheaded by the National Nutrition Agency (Badan Gizi Nasional or BGN), aims to provide free, nutritious meals to millions of Indonesian children.
