Bećirović on Kovačević case: The state is obliged to protect the fundamental human rights

SARAJEVO, December 20 (FENA) - In connection with the hearing in the case of Slaven Kovačević vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Denis Bećirović stated that this case most blatantly highlights the obligation and responsibility of the state to guarantee and protect fundamental human rights and basic freedoms according to the highest European and international standards.
