SARAJEVO, October 10 (FENA) - The death penalty is an inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, representing the ultimate denial of human dignity, said the High Representative of the European Union and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in a joint statement on occasion of European and World Day against the Death Penalty.
